College Campus Tour

In September of 2011 Amethyst Jeans participated in their first College Campus Tour, promoting the brand and celebrating back-to-school by giving away 5,500 pairs of jeans and great swag to students at 11 college campuses across the country.

The tour launched in Amethyst's home state of Connecticut. Beginning at the University of Connecticut, the tour continued south, meeting excited students in Tennessee, Kentucky, and South Carolina’s Clemson University and University of South Carolina. The truck rolled along, hitting universities in Indiana and Illinois before ending the tour with a bang in Ohio on Oct. 5 at the University of Cincinnati.

Amethyst showed students that education is fashionable by fitting thousands of college females in free denim to start their year off with confidence and style. The tour was quite the success. Amethyst gained an astonishing 11,000 Facebook “Likers” and noticed a tremendous spike in interaction with customers.
